The spreadsheet I worked with was named “American Mutoscope log no. 3” and dated 2017. An earlier file on deposit at LOC was “Amer Muto & Bio Productions, 1896–1908.xls.” Its last entry was AMB no. 3454, adventures of Dolly” [sic], a marker that the Bowser–Spehr project was to research AMB films made before D. W. Griffith received his first director’s credit in June 1908.
