Spehr, “Filmmaking at the American Mutoscope,” 413–21. Paul Spehr, The Man Who Made Movies: W. K. L. Dickson (John Libbey, 2008), 422, calls the document the Biograph production log. The Guide to the Biograph Collection, Museum of Modern Art, says Boxes 4 through 7 contain “the Biograph ledgers,” with only one set of “production records (ledger 4, box 4) . . . available on microfilm 0125.”
