The Unchanging Sea (1910) Clip 10 - Tsivian_Khitrova.mp4 0-34.68

The final shot of the film sees the faithful wife and the missing husband reunite after many years. The action starts with her shown pining, as always, her face turned toward the sea, her back toward us. A good villager shows her to the husband, whose memory is now back. A protracted scene of mutual recognition results in an embrace in two-shot.
